I Know I'm Somebody! The Musical

As of April 4, 2011, we are excited to announce that  Actor JD Williams from the hit HBO shows "Oz" and "The Wire"  will now be joining the cast of  "I Know I'm Somebody!"

Don't forget, I produced my first film project called The Bad Sister. We're in post production and believe me when I tell you, you are in for a treat. I came up with a unique theme (certainly different than anything I've ever written before). I will share more with you later.

If you've seen I Know I'm Somebody! you know the subject matter is powerful and necessary in today's society. 

I Know I’m Somebody! is a show that just about anybody can relate to. The situations are real. And that’s what makes it so enjoyable. The script is humorous at times, because people are funny but the messages are serious.

It’s a story about overcoming domestic abuse. It’s about families staying together & telling loved ones you love them. You’ll notice, in this story, the couple and their son say “I love you” often. I tell my actors to sneak those words in at every opportunity so it’s always interesting to see how many times they actually add that line in addition to what’s written in the script.

When I initially produced I Know I’m Somebody! in 2008 a friend recommended that I consider calling the play “The Grass Is Greener”  but that title didn’t resonate with me. I guess because I Know I’m Somebody! is not just a play. It’s an affirmation. And words for us all to live by.

All of my writings, my books, etc. are about empowering people. I Know I'm Somebody! is my masterpiece. The cast is brilliant. The dancers are incredible.
